Walking through a house with Tamara is an education in itself -- she has incredibly smart commentary on all sorts of issues, and a practiced eye that will notice things you would never catch yourself (and she flags both the positive and the negative). She would rather have you make a fully informed decision than simply "make a sale" -- I cannot emphasize how much we valued that attribute in Tamara. Tamara is straight-talking; honest; and cares more about her clients' long-term happiness, in the right home, than anything else.

Tamara's customer service is top-notch. We were wondering about the permit history of a particular house, and within a few hours, Tamara had gone to city hall and copied the entire permit history for us, and then sat down and walked us through it in order to explain what the permits were for. We wondered about no-parking signs near a home and whether residents received waivers; Tamara called the right agency and had an answer within an hour. Tamara has an eagle eye when reviewing the thicket of disclosures, inspection reports, cost estimates, etc., going through all of this paperwork with you carefully and sharing her vast knowledge about all of these things. She also has excellent working relationships with other agents and other related professionals (mortgage bankers, title companies, etc.), which gives her clients an advantage.

Tamara also has a large network of home-repair professionals that she can recommend. We were uncertain whether to offer on a particular house due to a foundation crack which the seller had not assessed; Tamara called in a favor with an extremely busy foundation expert, who was able to give us an opinion in a timely way. And after purchasing our home, Tamara is still in the picture, calling to ask how things are going, finding out what else we need, etc. Many months after the sale, we are still relying on Tamara for advice, most recently on the right person to fix our sprinkler system.
